PRIVATE LESSONS FOR ADULTS - ANY AGE, SKILL LEVEL OR STYLE

Private, one-on-one instruction in our facility allows students to progress at their own pace and gain the best understanding of musical techniques. Students can start private lessons any time of the year or month, so there's no need to wait to get started. No matter your skill level, age, or preferred style, we are happy to help. Any student who has taken a lesson here can come practice here, for free, for a week as long as there is available space/gear. Whether you're totally new to the instrument or you've been playing your whole life (or somewhere in between) we are here for you.

At WSM we don’t use an over-arching curriculum. Everyone learns differently & has their own goals, and every teacher has their own strengths and style. You’re paying for private lessons - why use the same methods as everyone else or a franchise-mandated progression? We’ll build your lesson plan specifically for you.

Private rates are:
1 half hour lesson - $69
5 half hour lessons - $59 each
15 half hour lessons - $54 each

1 hour-long lesson - $101
5 hour-long lessons - $91 each
15 hour-long lessons - $86 each

Cancellation policy: We have a firm 24 hour cancellation policy. Lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours notice will not be counted or penalized at all. Any lesson cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time will be counted as completed, whether the student is there or not.

5 packs must be used within six months. 15 backs must be used within one year.

Some days require 48 hours notice instead of the usual 24 - these are days that people have frequently canceled last minute. The 2023/24 dates are:
November 22 - Thanksgiving Eve
January 15 - Martin Luther King Jr Day
February 19-23 Presidents Day/Mid Winter Break
March 29-April 1 Easter Weekend
April 22-30 Spring Break
June 19 - Juneteenth
July 1 - August 31 - Summer Hours
